As part of BASIC/DEPT®’s INTL. STUDIES series, I shared how my Taiwanese heritage shapes my creativity. A photo of my grandmother at a shabby salon was printed on a tote with “原” (origin) and the saying “不聽老人言，吃虧在眼前” (listen to elders or face the consequences), reflecting culture and humor in my approach to design and photography.
